It's easy to see why Vicki Gunvalson wanted Steve Lodge to put a ring on it. He's a loving father and grandfather, he used to be in law enforcement, and he stays out of The Real Housewives of Orange County drama — well, for the most part.
There's also the fact that at 61 years of age, Steve is quite easy on the eyes... and now we can confirm that the RHOC fiancé has always been a hunk.
Steve recently shared a throwback photo from 1982 when he was around 24 years old. The Instagram pic shows Steve when he was a young police officer working in Santa Ana, California. "I’m proud to have served my community with my brothers and sisters of law enforcement," Steve wrote in the caption to the post. "I pray for those who are serving today."
Of course, Vicki couldn't help but remark how dashing Steve looked in his younger years. "Those lips," she wrote in the comments to the post, along with a lips emoji.
As we continued to scroll through Steve's Instagram feed, we noticed that he often likes to take a walk down memory lane, sharing photos from high school, his time serving in the military, and his 28 years in law enforcement.
Oh, and in case you needed further proof that Steve basically hasn't aged a day, he shared that too during the viral 10-year challenge social media craze earlier this year.
Obviously, Vicki couldn't be more excited to call Steve her husband. "Happy birthday to this stud of a man, my ride or die, my best friend, incredible grandfather to our 7 grandchildren and father to our 6 children," Vicki gushed on Instagram on Steve's 61st birthday on August 7. "I love you to the moon and back and can’t wait to be your wife! I love you!"
