Take an In-Depth Look at Where the Real Housewives Vacationed in Thailand
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 cast sat in the lap of luxury while vacationing at an estate on Phuket's "Millionaire's Mile."
It’s another season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and that means another season of epic accommodations.
This time, The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard Bassett and Gizelle Bryant, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cousins Heather Gay and Whitney Rose, The Real Housewives of Miami's Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton, The Real Housewives of New York City’s Leah McSweeney, and The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams traveled to Phuket, Thailand for an unbelievable getaway.
Their eventful one-week stay — which included a fair mix of friendships formed, several unsubstantiated accusations, and even physical illness (oh my!) — largely took place at Villa Aye, a 26,900-square-foot luxury villa with jaw-dropping 360-degree views of the Andaman sea, according to its website.
Just a 35-minute drive from the Phuket airport and close to the beaches and nightlife of Pa Tong, Villa Aye is situated on an elevated cliffside overlooking the Asian tropics of Phuket’s west coast.
Potomac housewife Gizelle remarked that Villa Aye was “amazing” and “friggin’ beautiful” during the season premiere.
“Imperiously commanding panoramic views of the Andaman Sea turquoise waters metres below and surrounded by lush, native Thai foliage, the eight-bedroom, three-level Villa Aye nestled within the palatial gated community of Cape Amarin on Phuket’s ‘Millionaire’s Mile,’ offers unique charms and facilities for your ultimate short- or long-term Phuket stay experience,” the website boasts.
Living on Phuket’s Millionaire’s Mile would be the equivalent of having a 90210 zip code, with holiday homes belonging to the likes of British artist and entrepreneur Damien Hirst and music producer and DJ Clifford Price, professionally known as Goldie, according to Mansion Global.
With upturned eaves, commonly found in Thai architecture, the home “perfectly harmonizes old-world charm and modern conveniences,” according to the Villa’s Instagram page.
“Designed by a leading Thai architect, the secluded, quiet, and easily accessible Villa Aye is stylish and sophisticated, subtly weaving traditional Thai design with the contemporary to beautifully capture the villa’s heritage as a much-loved family home,” the website states.
The house itself features a hodgepodge of upscale amenities, including an elevator, a fitness room, and an expansive entertainment area with Japanese-style dining facilities, a bar, and a pool table. From there, guests can walk to an infinity pool overlooking the sea and the estate’s lawns, “where the whole family can enjoy the warm, tropical sun and refreshing sea breeze.”

An al-fresco pavilion is close to the pool and “the perfect spot” for dishes prepared by Villa Aye’s in-house chef. The Villa also comes with trained housekeepers and a team of concierges, including the Housewives' trusted sidekick, Pepsi.
For a price, guests can also request chauffeur services and excursions and order in-house spa treatments.
Those interested in staying at Villa Aye are looking at a starting price tag of USD $2,950 per night with a three-night minimum stay and upward of $6,950 with a 10-night minimum, depending on the time of year. The prices don’t include service charges, taxes, and other recommended add-ons, such as holiday rental insurance.
Villa Aye is considered one of Phuket’s most sought-after wedding destinations and has been featured in Ruffled. The Luxury Signature’s portfolio lists the rental as one of Phuket’s most luxurious stays.
