Wanda Sykes on Bill Cosby Beef: It's Over

Comedians buried the hatchet after awkward Emmys moment.

By Chelsea Brady

Awards shows always have their share of awkward moments, but one of the most uncomfortable bits in Emmy history came in 2003, when Wanda Sykes annoyed a very unamused Bill Cosby in his seat in the audience.

It seemed like the two titans of comedy had beef for years after the incident, but on last night's Watch What Happens Live After Show, Sykes told Andy Cohen their drama is over.

"Cosby and I did have a thing...at the Emmys he was a little flippant," Sykes says. "I think it's because I bum-rushed him a little bit. But we did an event in Washington, DC at the Howard Theater, and we talked and we're so cool. He's great."

"I love an awkward live TV moment," Cohen adds.

Watch Wanda Sykes talk about her Cosby controversy and tell us in the comments: Would you forgive Sykes for joking with you on live TV?
