How to Watch

For every amazing pairing of guests on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, you're bound to run into a few that don't have great chemistry. Fortunately, those are few and far between. In fact, one WWHL staffer could only remember a handful guests that didn't mix well.

John Jude, a co-executive producer on WWHL, told The Daily Dish podcast, "The only time I feel like we're sort like 'ehh;' we get a sick feeling in our stomach after the show is when we maybe there's some weird chemistry between the guests, or a guest doesn't really want to open up or doesn't really get our show; I feel like that's the time where we're like, ugh, that sucked."

Specifically, this episode came to mind: "It's funny because I think Andy [Cohen] wanted them to be together because he knew that it wouldn't work but obviously Kenya [Moore] and Michael Rapaport is the quintessential example of two people who did not jive. I mean, they were going at each other on Twitter before the show, like weeks before. And I think Andy was like, 'This would be good TV,' and it was, but they definitely did not like each other," Jude recalled. (Check out that appearance above.)

However, that wasn't the only guest with whom Kenya had beef, apparently: "Also she was on with Sherri Shepherd; they didn't get along," he shared.

Is Kenya Showing Off?

And he brought up this awkward episode from 2011: "Countess Luann [de Lesseps] was on with Cat Ommanney from Real Housewives of D.C. It was a royal wedding spectacular and I don't know what was going on with Cat but she just went after Luann," Jude recalled. "I don't even think they knew each other; she was just like, who do you think you are? You're not the queen of etiquette, yada yada yada. I think she was sort of trying to maybe impress Andy that she could be full of drama; maybe she wanted to be on another show or something, I don't know. But she went after her. And Luann was sort of like, what? What is this? Why is this woman going after me?"
