Why Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky Separated
As RHOBH fans already know, Kyle confirmed her separation from Mauricio after 27 years of marriage in October 2023. On Season 13 of RHOBH, Kyle revealed the final straw that led her to split up from the real estate agent.
"With any marriage, there's issues that you have, and they come up and you get busy. You've got kids — my kids were little — I'm working, I'm being a mommy, and doing all that, [so, the issues] get put aside and will come up again," Kyle said during Part 3 of the Season 13 reunion. "Some of the issues never went away. They were never worked on. And then something, like I said in my interview, happened where I did lose my trust."
Though Kyle did attempt to move past the issue (which she didn't explicitly talk about), she wasn't able to.
“I care about my family first, and I really did try, and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was, I don’t want to say putting up with, just became more apparent to me, I guess I couldn’t do that anymore and I finally just had a breaking point," she continued.
