Rob Westergaard is one of The Wellington crew's deckhands this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, but these days, he's taking on a different role in the yachting industry.

Rob shared an update on his career after Season 5 of Below Deck Med during his appearance on the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home After Show on September 14 (clip above). He confirmed that he is indeed still working on a boat today but in a different department. "I'm in the engineering department of a vessel called Jamaica Bay. Big 60-meter vessel," Rob said. "The yard period, there's a lot going on, so I'm pretty occupied right now, so I'm happy."

He also recently gave fans a glimpse at his engineering work on his current yacht in a post on Instagram on September 14. "The not so glamorous side of the 'yachting' industry. At the end of the day you [are] here to work, it’s no vacation," Rob wrote in the post. "It definitely has its perks, you get to see amazing places and meet just as amazing people along the way."

Rob went on to thank a couple of his fellow crew members for teaching him "the ropes in the engineering department." "I’m all about learning, if I’ve not learnt something in a day it’s almost frustrating, if I’m not learning I’m stagnant, my mind wonders and I become complacent," he added. "So I encourage you to learn at least something new every day. It only benefits you in the end."

Rob ended the post by sharing that he is sending his fans "all love and light."

Prior to joining the yachting industry, Rob spent nine years working as a model all around the world. It was also revealed during his appearance on WWHL: @ Home that he had one particularly high profile photo shoot posing with none other than Taylor Swift for Vanity Fair in 2013. "I feel, she grew up in that world, so I feel she also knew how to move in front of a camera," Rob said of Swift's modeling skills. "She seemed very natural."
