Rob Westergaard Reveals If There Was Any Flirting When He Modeled with Taylor Swift
"There was a little back and forth," the Below Deck Med yachtie said.
We’ve seen Robert Westergaard as one half of a steamy boatmance with Jessica More this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, and although the two shared a unique connection, it’s not the first time the deckhand has been paired up with a familiar face. On the September 14 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home, it was revealed that Rob posed with Taylor Swift for a Vanity Fair cover shoot in 2013. So did sparks ever fly between Rob and the world famous singer? He shared the details of the day they spent together in the clip, above.
When Rob initially booked the modeling gig, he was “surprised” to learn he’d be posing alongside Taylor Swift.
“My agent was like, ‘We have this opportunity for you to shoot with Peter Lindbergh,’ who was like, the greatest fashion and editorial photographer ever, and they were like, ‘you’re going to shoot for someone famous,’” Rob explained. “I was like, ‘yeah, I don’t really care, like I just want an image from Peter Lindbergh.’”
Rob also explained that Taylor is a very talented model. When asked to rate her skills, he said she's "very natural," adding, "I feel, she grew up in that world, so I feel she also knew how to move in front of a camera. She seemed very natural."
When Andy asked if there was any flirting between Rob and Swift, the yachtie had a coy response.
“I mean, there was a little back and forth here,” he said. However, he says it did not carry over after he left the shoot. This was disappointing to Andy, who replied, "I was kind of hoping the two of you were going to walk off into the sunset together."
