Who Does Dorinda Medley Blame for Luann de Lesseps and Tom D'Agostino's Divorce?

“I just think a new marriage needs to be left alone,” the #RHONY mom shared.

In the world of Housewives, relationships can be tough. We’ve seen husbands and boyfriends come and go and, in some cases, come back again. However, few romances have been so widely discussed and analyzed than that of The Real Housewives of New York City mom Luann de Lesseps and Tom D'Agostino.

During this year’s nomination special for The Real Housewives Awards, fellow RHONY mom Dorinda Medley revealed what she thinks led to the couple’s breakup. “I don’t think it was a matter of not loving each other. I think it was too much, too soon,” Dorinda said in the clip above.

She shared more with The Daily Dish podcast: “It's a change in life. And maybe Tom wasn't so much ready for that. You know, Luann loves to be married. She does.” Dorinda also suggested that maybe Tom’s “friends” didn’t help things. She said, “I didn't think that helped that all these old friends that were maybe once-girlfriends that were still all hanging around. Not that anything was going on. I just think a new marriage needs to be left alone.”

Dorinda, who also introduced Luann to Tom, said she calls Luann every few days to check in on her, “She’s a strong woman, she’ll get through this.”

Dorinda is one of many ‘Wives who have reached out to Luann after hearing about the divorce. However, in her recent sit-down with Andy Cohen, Luann named one New Yorker in particular who has not.
