The Season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City saw Lisa Barlow go head to head with Angie Katsanevas and Whitney Rose during her "Besos" themed dinner, and according to a preview for Episode 2, the tension between the three didn't stop there.

In the above sneak peek of the Wednesday, September 25 episode, Angie reveals why exactly she told Whitney that Lisa said she was upset with her over her comments on a podcast: She simply wants them to be cordial.

"I told Whitney what Lisa said, not because I thought Whitney was in the right for calling her a villain, but because I thought she probably owed her an apology so they could move forward," Angie says in a confessional.

Nevertheless, more drama remains. While sitting down for a heart to heart, Lisa once again confronts Angie for taking the conversation that they had and bringing it right to Whitney.

"You and I have conversations that are meant just for you and me. Not meant for everybody else. And you say things to me that I don't share with anybody else, and that's what I need to make sure you and I still have," explains the Vida Tequila founder.

"Listen, at times I do feel like I'm trying to do everything to prove that I'm a good friend to you," responds Angie.

"For me, I just feel like we're good, and then I feel like these extraneous things happen," notes Lisa, prompting Angie to tell her that she sometimes makes it hard to be honest. "I feel like other people in the group do have a fear ... like Heather [Gay] taking up for you last night was like, 'I'm gonna show you Lisa. We are a team,'" she says.

Lisa, however, argues that the entire conversation — and this aftermath — is frustrating for her. The way she sees it, she doesn't need anyone to stand up for her, but she is going to be loud when standing up for herself.

The drama between Lisa Barlow and Angie K. continues

In a confessional, Lisa further explains how she sees the situation with her longtime friend. "...if [Angie] could stop trying to convince me to think exactly like her, and would listen to me with the intent to understand me, we would get a lot further," she says.

Angie's argument: Lisa does deserve to be heard, but she might not realize that she's talking over someone.

"This is how I talk," Lisa replies. "This is how I move my hands when I talk. This is how I am when I'm passionate. I am me. I'm not changing. I'm like, mid-40s, and I'm Lisa Barlow. This is it. This is what you get."

Angie notes that she's seen this same situation play out with Lisa before — and vows that this time will be different.

"You're expected to just agree, and I'm not going to do that this time," she says in a confessional. "I came here with good intentions, so how are we ever supposed to move forward if she won't even hear me out?"
