Carl Radke Defends Taking Back Lindsay Hubbard's Engagement Ring: "It's My Property"
The Summer House cast member explains the legal reasons behind his choice to keep the engagement ring he gave Lindsay before they split.
On her March 7 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Lindsay Hubbard revealed what happened to her engagement ring from Carl Radke after the Summer House couple broke up. Explaining that Carl "demanded it back," Lindsay went on to share that "New York law" made her legally obligated to return the jewelry.
More recently, during his March 14 appearance on WWHL, Carl revealed why he asked for the ring back and how he retrieved the item.

After host Andy Cohen mentioned how he asked Lindsay the previous week about giving the ring back, he then prompted Carl to give his side of the story.
"It's New York state law, it's my property," he shared. "I wrote her an email one-on-one and asked for the ring back."
Before he continued, The Traitors' Trishelle Cannatella hopped in with her take: "Carl, no! I don't like that rule!" she laughed.

Carl went on to explain: "It is the law in New York state if I purchased the ring and [gave it] on the condition of an engagement ...we did not move forward with the wedding, the ring is then returned to me, and that's just the law. I'm just following the law."
Is Carl Radke dating anyone right now?
Elsewhere in the episode, Carl revealed more about his dating life following his split from Lindsay.
"I haven't started [dating] yet. For me, watching myself in a relationship, it's kind of confusing and hard to kind of separate that from [that] right now," he revealed, referencing events that continue to unfold on Summer House Season 8.
In a recent interview with People, Carl shared similar sentiments. "I don't feel like it's responsible or fair to try and pursue a new relationship when there's still some entanglements, and we're having to relive the breakup publicly on TV," Carl told the outlet. "I personally feel like it's best for me to take some more time, really focus on myself, my career, my family, my friendships."
