Lindsay Hubbard Explains Deleting *That* Photo of Luke Gulbranson from Instagram
Deleting the picture, as Andy Cohen put it, “caused a lot of suspicions.”
Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard commemorated the Easter celebration she and Carl Radke hosted by posting a photo on Instagram of the two posing alongside their guests, including Luke Gulbranson, Andrea Denver, and Chris Leoni, among others. However, as Andy Cohen pointed out during the April 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Lindsay ultimately deleted the photo and reposted a new version — this one sans Luke and the woman he was holding hands with.
“Now you’ve caused a lot of suspicions and eyeballs,” Andy told Lindsay, who couldn’t help but laugh as she was being put in the hot seat. She then explained, “I did not know they were holding hands until everyone started commenting and was like, ‘Oh, they’re holding hands!’ And I was like, ‘Oh s--t, they’re holding hands!’”
Wanting to respect Luke, Lindsay chose to delete the photo. “I understand what it’s like to be in the public and the pressure that you feel from viewers and fans [and] everywhere,” she explained. “When Carl and I started dating, we were just trying to keep it as private as possible because you want to enjoy those moments, so I understand.”
For now, it’s safe to say that fans will just have to wait to hear about Luke’s love life from the Winter House cast member himself.
As for his past romances, Luke most recently dated The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby. The two hit it off at BravoCon 2022 and continued to see each other for the next few months, but this past January, Ashley — who’s currently in the process of finalizing her divorce from Michael Darby — revealed that she and Luke were “not romantically involved anymore.”
“My life is very complicated, as you guys can imagine,” Ashley explained at the time. “I’m going through a very difficult situation. And Luke was a trouper — believe me, he went through some things.”
Continuing to express her gratitude for the time she spent with Luke, Ashley added, “I met his whole family. They were amazing, I fell in love with them. It was so great. But, you know, I am newly single. This is my first relationship after… it’s just nice to be reminded I am that girl. And I love to love and I love to be in love. Give me all the love!”
