Jason Cameron and Luke Gulbranson’s Love Lives Are a Hot Topic Yet Again on Summer House: Here’s Why

The April 10 episode of Summer House marked the return of a few familiar faces.

As the Hamptons crew got together to celebrate Kyle Cooke’s milestone 40th birthday, they welcomed weekend guests (and Winter House–mates) Jason Cameron, Rachel Clark, and Luke Gulbranson. The trio joined fellow Winter House weekend guests Craig Conover and Kory Keefer, who arrived at the summer hotspot on the prior episode.

Once Rachel and Jason arrived, the florist tasked the model with helping her put together a flower wall for the hoedown-themed festivities. Amanda Batula asked Rachel if she had continued her Vermont fling with Jason once the two returned to New York.

Rachel revealed that the two had “hung out a bunch this summer” but were still figuring things out. When Amanda wondered if that meant “nothing serious” was going on, Rachel agreed, saying she was having a “hot girl summer.”

While Amanda and Kyle were happy to see Jason arrive in the Hamptons, Lindsay Hubbard wasn’t as excited. As Summer House fans may remember, Lindsay opened up about experiencing a pregnancy loss on the Season 6 premiere. The loss occurred while she was still dating Jason, and the two spoke about how they handled sharing the news publicly on Winter House Season 2

Carl Radke shared why it was “a very awkward situation” for Lindsay to see Jason again in the Hamptons.

“They’ve been through something very traumatic, and it’s something only they can really understand,” Carl explained in an interview on the episode. “After Vermont, things were kind of cleared up, but Jason is still kind of making it more of a thing. And I know Lindsay is frustrated and upset by that, so of course, she doesn’t really want to have to see him, because it brings up old memories. It brings up old pain.”

Lindsay later noted that Jason “needs to steer very clear” of her, but she was excited to see her pal Luke at Kyle’s birthday party. During the event, Lindsay tried to introduce Luke to Season 7 newbie Gabby Prescod, but the two were already acquainted.

“Many moons ago, Luke and I matched on a dating app,” Gabby said in an interview about how she knew the model/hockey coach. “And we chatted for a while. But he actually did not get back to me during the pandemic, so [I] thought that was dead in the water.”

However, sparks did fly when the two met in person for the first time, as Gabby admitted. “Cosmically, maybe my love potion is working,” she joked.

Viewers will have to stay tuned to discover what happens between Gabby and Luke after the hoedown. To find out the latest on Jason’s relationship status, which involves having a “great” time with The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant, click on the post below.
