The single WWHL host told two recent Clubhouse visitors that he “[needs] a husband.”

Single father of two Andy Cohen is ready to find a man who’s husband material. And with a wealth of well-connected Bravolebrities on speed dial, the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host knows exactly who can help him find one.

During WWHL’s September 26 episode, Andy tapped Married to Medicine’s Dr. Simone Whitmore to offer her fellow Bravolebs some unsolicited relationship advice. While discussing The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Sanya Richards-Ross and Aaron Ross not being on the same page about having another baby, the ob-gyn turned the tables a bit.

After she asked Andy how it was for him “going from one to two” children, referencing his 3-year-old son Ben, and almost 5-month-old daughter Lucy, he replied “a lot” no less than three times. “I need a husband, Dr. Simone,” Andy confessed. “You got anybody for me?”

Though she rightfully noted that the WWHL host is “busy” right now, the Atlanta-based doctor added, “We’ve gotta find you a doctor.” Andy’s response? “Oh, that’d be great.”

He didn’t stop there though, asking his other guest, RHOA’s Miss Lawrence, “Do you have a husband for me? Did you bring one tonight?”

Sadly, Miss Lawrence “did not bring one,” but said, “You’ve gotta tell me what you’re looking for though. We’ve had these conversations before, but you’re in a different space now. You’re a whole father, so now I think you might know specifically what you need.”

Even before Andy welcomed Lucy in late April, he admitted that fatherhood made dating more challenging. “Oh my god. It’s changed a lot,” he told Entertainment Tonight in August 2021. “I think it’s become harder in a way. There’s just this subtext that’s obvious without me saying it that’s there, that was never there, obviously. You know what I mean?”

Since then, Andy’s more recent parenting challenges have had nothing to do with his romantic life. On July 1, he shared an Instagram video of himself driving as Ben and Lucy cried loudly in the back seat. “Summer should be fun,” he captioned the post. And though he shared an adorable family selfie in the Hamptons a week later, by season’s end, he found himself in a full-circle moment.

“My ‘vacation’ in a nutshell…” Andy captioned a September 2 Instagram video in which Ben could, again, be heard crying in the back seat, while he drove. In another similar clip that he posted on September 5, he joked that he needed a vacation from his vacation, as he drove back to New York City, and yes, Ben was crying again.

A parenting partner might be just what the doctor ordered.
