Andy Cohen’s Mother, Evelyn, Has Entered the Chat on the Vanderpump Rules Drama
The WWHL host shared his mother’s unspoken reaction to all the Bravo buzz and gave an update on his 1-year-old daughter, Lucy.
By now, just about every theory, opinion, and reaction to the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 drama has floated through the Bravosphere. But one reaction has been missing — until now. Andy Cohen’s mother, Evelyn Cohen, has officially entered the Vanderpump Rules group chat via a surprising style statement.
In an April 28 Instagram post, Andy shared a photo of his mother wearing a now-iconic sweatshirt. The St. Louis native was clad in the very Tom Tom hoodie that Raquel Leviss gave Andy the last time she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 1. (Catch a glimpse of her appearance in the clip above.)
“MomTom! (She asked to borrow a hoodie so how could I resist!?),” Andy wrote in his caption. The oversize black hoodie has a glittery lightning bolt and the logo for Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz’s famous restaurant on the front of it. It also contains a magic ingredient that’s invisible to the naked eye.
In the comments on Andy’s post, a follower wrote, “I hope you washed that!” Andy’s response? “I did NOT! There’s [DNA] on it that’s significant to Bravo historians.”
Of course, Andy has more going on in his life than all the on-screen drama. The proud dad just celebrated his daughter Lucy’s first birthday.
In an April 29 Instagram post, the talk-show host shared a photo of himself holding his little girl and clutching a festive gold balloon shaped like the number 1. “Happy birthday, sweetheart!” he wrote in his caption.
Lucy’s weekend festivities included an adorable rainbow cake from Sugaree’s Bakery. The 1-year-old also got a special gift from Anderson Cooper’s son. “Little Wyatt Cooper gave her this,” Andy said in the video, showing Lucy holding a colorful rattle.
Just like her grandma Evelyn, Lucy has appeared in the Bravo Clubhouse — well, via video, at least. Last year, after the arrival of his daughter on April 29, Andy introduced viewers to little Lucy with a heartwarming video.
“As I held Lucy in the hospital, just she and I, late into her first night, I was so moved by all of your love and support,” Andy said, showing a photo of himself holding baby Lucy in the hospital. “I see all your messages, I want you to know that your virtual cheerleading of my starting a family on my own has lifted me up when I most needed it.”
