Cardi B Doesn't Put Her Ketchup in the Fridge, and Fans Are Freaking Out
Cardi B stunned her followers with this condiment confession.
If Cardi B has something to say, she'll let it be known. In the past, her statements have had to do with everything from Nicki Minaj to weight gain to her thoughts on detox teas. But now, the rapper is coming clean about ketchup.
In an August 8 Instagram post, the "Bodak Yellow" singer declared, "People who put their ketchup in the fridge are not to be trusted." Uh-oh. We're one of those people. Does Cardi not trust us? And we're not the only ones who grew slightly concerned after reading the controversial tweet.
Fans started to weigh in on the issue, with one tersely pointing out, "You're supposed to refrigerate it after you open it." Another follower shared a snap of the ketchup label, which clearly reads, "For best results, refrigerate after opening."
Those fans aren't lying, by the way: Heinz once issued an official statement on the matter, claiming, "We recommend that this product, like any processed food, be refrigerated after opening. Refrigeration will maintain the best product quality after opening."
The back-and-forth went on for a bit, with Cardi explaining that she keeps her ketchup on top of her fridge, so it can be "nice and room temperature to put on your eggs in the morning." After all, she added, "Like imagine cold ass ketchup on your f--king eggs. That s--t really pisses me the f--k off."

And as that battle rages on, Lisa Rinna and her hubs, Harry, are engaged in their own debate over proper butter storage. Indeed, there are some big questions out there in refrigeration land.
