Gwyneth Paltrow's Wedding-Day Diet Might Change the Way You See Her Forever
The Goop mogul revealed her two diet staples in the days leading up her wedding. Um... wow.
When it comes to divisive topics, Gwyneth Paltrow ranks somewhere up there with pineapple pizza. People either really, really love the Goop mogul... or they find her really, really highfalutin. But if you fall into the latter camp, we have a juicy tidbit that might change all that.
The Goop team just launched a new podcast, The Beauty Closet. GP was the first guest to be interviewed by the Goop beauty editors, and when the subject turned to how diet affects beauty, here's what Paltrow had to say: "To be honest, I think the thing that one can do that's most impactful on the countenance, as it were, is food." She added, "Whenever I cut out alcohol, caffeine, gluten, dairy, sugar for a week, everyone's like: Did you get Botox?"
OK, so this is pretty old hat for clean-eatin' GP. But this next bit might surprise you. When the podcast hosts asked Paltrow if she'd followed the rigid elimination regime in the days leading up to her diet, the Oscar winner said, "Sadly, no. I was too stressed! ... No, I was really, I was like French fries and whiskey right up to the day."
She joked, "It's the new Goop way, OK?"
