Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski Reveals He's Opening a Restaurant — Even Though He's "Not Supposed to Talk About It" Yet

Queer Eye's cooking star let slip that he's planning a fast casual comfort food spot in NYC.

Antoni Porowski, one of the stars of the Queer Eye reboot on Netflix, plans to open a restaurant in New York City, he revealed this week. He said he's "not supposed to talk about it" yet, but nevertheless he spilled some drops of tea on what he's planning.

“I’m all about like cheese and pork belly and decadence, and as a result of the increased vanity of being on camera all the time and working out and eating healthy, I’m developing a fast-casual food concept restaurant that I’m gonna be opening here in New York,” he said at a panel at the 92Y in NYC, reports Food & Wine.

A former busboy, waiter, manager, and sommelier, he's had tons of experience in nearly every position in a restaurant, so he's got a lot of knowledge to build on in his own place. He's also completed half of the recipes for a forthcoming cookbook-memoir that he expects will have 100 recipes when it's done.
