Rapper Lil Xan Hospitalized After Eating Flamin' Hot Cheetos: "Hell of a Drug"
Lil Xan is urging fans (of his music and of Cheetos) to "be careful."
Just as he was readying for a tour, 22-year-old rapper Diego Leanos, who goes by Lil Xan, had a bit of an... incident. But he wants his fans to know that it's not what they might think.
"Yeah, I went to the hospital today," he shared in a video clip posted to Instagram that shows a hospital ID bracelet around his wrist, and a home in disarray as packing for the tour had been underway before the medical interruption.
He continued, "I just want to let everybody know that I was in the hospital not due to any drugs, but..." (wait for it) — he continued, "I ate too many Hot Cheetos and it ripped something in my stomach."
In his caption, he updated fans on his condition: "Just wanna let everyone know that I’m good, healthier then I’ve ever been and ready to kick of my third Tour in NY ina couple days."
But he added a word of warning, too: "Also be careful, Hot Cheetos are one hell of a drug!"
