Shereé Whitfield Previews the "Epic, Jaw-Dropping, Sad" RHOA Season 9 Reunion
The #RHOA pal and Andy Cohen tease that things "will never be the same" after it airs.
We're almost a decade into The Real Housewives of Atlanta and it just might be the turn of events at the upcoming Season 9 reunion that will be the most emotional to date. And, when we recently caught up with Shereé Whitfield, she admitted that some of the dynamics in the group have been forever shifted by the revelations that take place during the historic four-part reunion.
"Well, first of all, no one ever enjoys a reunion. I mean you got the shakes. You're nervous. It's not fun cause you already know what's about to go down. When I tell you none of us could have ever imagined or fathomed what goes down during this reunion, I mean it is just epic," she said. "It is just jaw-dropping. It's sad."
As we saw in the teaser released earlier this month (above), there are certainly going to be face-offs and twists that will leave the group, and, yes, even host Andy Cohen floored. And Shereé hopes that there might someday be the chance for the ladies to bounce back from the events of that day. "I would hope that they can heal. And I know some things are just not mendable. I know some of the relationships are just broken and will not be able to be fixed. But the others that are possible I would say just to try. Life is short. I do know life is short and sometimes you have to forgive and forget -- but everyone can't do that."
Andy mirrored that sentiment recently, noting things will certainly be different from here on out. "It's funny and it takes a very surprising turn," he shared of that reunion. "Well it's a twist that it's gonna throw a bomb throughout the entire group of women. The group of women will never be the same."
