Kandi Burruss Decked out Her Atlanta Home in Honor of Her College-Bound Daughter
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom feted Riley's next adventure with a sea of NYU balloons.
Riley Burruss is about to start her freshman year at New York University. But before Kandi Burruss' daughter heads to the Big Apple, her family is giving her a proper Atlanta-style sendoff.
First, there was a tray of custom cookies shaped like diplomas and mortarboards. And later, Kandi filled the house with balloons for her college-student-to-be.
In an Instagram share, The Real Housewives of Atlanta mama struck a pose with her teenager, using a sea of festive balloons as the backdrop. Some of the balloons were heart-shaped and metallic, and decked with the NYU logo. (This family loves a good logo.) There were also a few floating latex balloons in the university's signature colors: purple and white.
"Wow ... My baby ain’t a baby no more. Headed to school!" Kandi wrote. Next, she shared a photo of all three of her tots posing in front of the same balloon wall. "My babies!" the proud mama wrote. "One is leaving the nest & the other two are just getting started."
