Look Inside the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Uber-Posh Hong Kong Hotel

Nothing but the best, of course.

By Alesandra Dubin

Surely you didn't expect anything less than truly luxurious accommodations for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during their stay in Hong Kong, did you? No, not when Lisa Vanderpump has three suitcases for a five-day trip, and Erika Girardi travels with her own glam squad, including personal lookbook. Let us take you inside the gorgeous property worthy of the ladies.

First off, the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong cannot be denied on the skyline: The dramatic, soaring 56-story structure just commands attention. The tower overlooks the city’s top-end shopping, culture, and business real estate below.

Inside is peace and extravagance: In the atrium is a show-stopping, 16-stories-tall silk landscape painting known as the "Great Motherland of China," billed as the largest of its kind in the world.

Grab — or linger over — a drink in the lobby, decorated with a 140-year-old Banyan Tree. By the way? It cost more than $3 million in U.S dollars to conserve this existing tree, which gives you a sense of scale and balance in the middle of a super-bustling city (not to mention a sense of the overall expense that goes into such a property).

Conde Nast Traveler has named Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, as one of the best hotels in the world for dining. There are eight restaurants, including the two-Michelin-star Summer Palace. For an evening drink, the hotel's Horizon Club offers stunning views of the Peak and Victoria Harbour.

For shopping, Hong Kong's Pacific Place mall sits just below the hotel.

As far as the best-of-the-best lodging, the hotel's poshest suite offering is the presidential, sprawling over more than 2,200 square feet, and with a dining room big enough for entertaining 12. If you're Lisa Vanderpump, you might exclaim, "Oh, this is cute!" (But we'd have a stronger word for it.)
