As The Real Housewives of Potomac fans well know, Karen Huger considers her marriage to Ray Huger "an institution" — and why shouldn't she? The couple have been going strong for over 25 years of marriage (which they celebrated with a lavish bash on RHOP).
A quarter of a century of marriage a massive accomplishment anywhere, but it's definitely moreso in the Bravoverse.

Of course, such a long-standing union deserves only the biggest and the best bling to commemorate it... which Karen has.
Karen Huger's Diamond Engagement and Wedding Rings
Karen has had a major fashion glow up throughout her time on RHOP, but one part of her style has stayed consistent: Her engagement and wedding rings.
“My style is and has always been classic elegance with a modern twist,” Karen once explained to PAPER. That's the perfect way to describe the two rings she routinely wears.

The mom of two flaunts a large diamond ring, which sits on a thick band which appears to be platinum or white gold. Next to it, a thick wedding band with pavé stones shines bright.
Why Karen Huger Doesn't Always Wear Her Wedding Rings
Though Karen's rings are a marvel, her Potomac cast mates once noticed that they are sometimes absent from her finger.
In Season 3, it became a topic of conversation amongst the ladies — but, of course, Karen issued an epic clap back to shut down any negative speculation.
"This is why I have a 21-year marriage. I serve my man," Karen told Gizelle Bryant in Season 3, Episode 16. Later, she famously said to Ashley Darby: "My marriage is an institution. Yours is a fake-the-world situation."
Why Ray Huger Once Took Karen's Engagement Ring Back
Still, it turns out there was a time when Karen wasn't wearing her ring for a reason.
In Season 6, Karen revealed that Ray once took the engagement ring back during a disagreement.
"You remember you canceled my first wedding on me, right?" Karen asked Ray in the episode.

"Ray didn't actually get cold feet. Ray got pissed off," she explained in a confessional. "I traveled without letting him know initially, but he needed to know where I was going before I packed my bags."
"When I got back to the house, he said, 'Give me my ring,'" she continued. "He took his ring back, yes he did."
