Mauricio Umansky pulled out all the stops for Kyle Richards' 50th birthday. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills husband rented the luxurious Casa Tau in Punta Mita, Mexico (a favorite vacation spot) for their friends (including Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave) and family to celebrate Kyle's milestone. Casa Tau is a collection of five separate villas, which collectively include a whopping 12 guest rooms (sleeping a total of 26 people!), three oceanfront king suites and one double room. The rental price varies per month; in January, the average daily rate is a modest $12,500.
Mauricio shared a number of pictures of their getaway on Instagram and, just like that, we're basically obsessed with the property:
Let us count some of the reasons why:
1. That Pool
It's about 80 degrees in Punta Mita right now, which is perfect swimming weather. An incredible Mexican palapa is the crowning point of the property. And Kyle and Teddi took full advantage of the pool's multi-tiered surface, using it as the backdrop for a pretty epic dance party.
2. Lounging on the Sand
Kyle and her crew got to lounge right on the sand with that epic beach view right in front of them.
3. Outdoor Living
Casa Tau's backyard is sprawling, so the guests could spread out and roam around when they wanted moments apart from the rest of the group. Looks like a perfect place to dine al fresco.
4. A Good Night's Sleep... for 26!
More like a boutique hotel than a home, the master stares straight out to the ocean.
5. The Cozy Hammock
Nothing switches you into vacation quicker than an incredible hammock. How did the group ever leave Casa Tau after that kind of relaxation?
