Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has said it before: She'll pass on date night, thanks. But with three kids between the two of them — Slate, 6, Cruz, 4, and Isabella, 10, who's Edwin's daughter from a previous relationship — how do The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal and her husband find time to ... you know? Now we have our answer.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

When she appeared on the E! News digital series Mom2Mom, Teddi shared the brilliant — and honestly, quite relatable — way that she and Edwin find alone time.

"This is really keeping it sexy here, but [the secret is] daytime!" she said. "We'll say ok we'll have a babysitter from 10 to noon, and we'll go on like a hike and then go for a light, boozy brunch or something like that, and then we'll have rest time. So the big ones will read a book, and Cruz will take his nap, and — it doesn't take that much time!"

But what happens if one of the littles barges in? Or hears something? "We always have music on," Teddi said. "And then you're more cautious with the blankets and then you're just — you were wrestling! It hasn't happened. We're not wasting a lot of time ... we handle business quickly. And then, you're in a really good mood the rest of the day to parent."

The accountability coach also dished on what it's like raising littles who occasionally appear on TV. "Slate said something like, when am I going to be famous again this year?" Teddi shared. (Kid-speak translation: Slate was asking when the new season of RHOBH would start to air.) Teddi continued: "I'm like let's take it down a notch, who are you saying that to? And she said ... I just told people that sometimes during the year I'm famous."

She has a fair point!
