Dorit Reveals Who Pays for "Every Single Piece" of Designer Clothing in Her Closet
"I want to wear what I want to wear, and it's just easier," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fashionista explained of how she gets all her high-end fashion.
As The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers are well aware, Dorit Kemsley has a passion for high-end clothing, and on Part 3 the show's Season 11 reunion, she explained exactly how her designer duds are paid for.
"Dorit, when you come out with these outfits, do you buy every single thing?" host Andy Cohen asked. Much to Andy's surprise, Dorit revealed that she personally pays for "every single piece" in her closet. "I'm really particular," she explained. "I want to wear what I want to wear, and it's just easier, I just think, 'I'll buy it.'"
"And you pay retail for everything?" Andy asked. "I would have thought at this point that you would be getting discounts from places or that people would be lending you stuff to see it on the show."
Although Dorit agreed that "certain designers would" lend her clothing or sell it to her at a discounted rate, she reiterated, "I wanna wear what I wanna wear. I dress for myself, what I like."
Garcelle Beauvais praised Dorit's style during the conversation, declaring, "She puts a lot of care into it and she really does it well."
Back in January, Dorit answered fan's style questions via an Instagram "ask me anything" session. When one person asked if her closet was exclusively filled with with high-end clothes, Dorit replied, "No, but I have a lot of designer clothes."
"I like what I like and I've always loved high fashion. That doesn't mean I don't wear clothes that aren't designer," she continued. "I just happen to wear a lot of designer clothes."
