Kyle Richards is used to dealing with dogs. At her Encino mansionThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is constantly chiding her five fur babies to stay off the bed — or get out of the fountain. But during a visit to her Aspen vacation home, Kyle faced down an animal issue of a whole different kind.

How to Watch

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, who was vacationing with Kyle and her family, caught the whole ordeal on Instagram Stories. Filming a hummingbird flitting through Kyle's vaulted living room, Teddi showed all the measures her pal was taking to coax the bird outside.

After placing birdseed on a chair, Teddi and Kyle began taking suggestions from hummingbird-savvy social-media followers. "Everyone's saying turn the lights off inside, and just put the sugar water down," she said. Exasperatedly, Kyle replied: "The lights are off and the sugar water and birdseed are there! What more do you want from [us]?"

Finally, the Real Housewives tried another tact. Paging reality TV star Spencer Pratt, Teddi pleaded: "[Spencer] can you tell us what we need to do? We heard that you're the one to reach out to, so, we need this hummingbird to be out there." And though this seemingly wasn't one of Pratt's suggestions, Kyle decided to serenade the bird with a little flute music.

It's unclear if the music succeeded in luring the hummingbird outside, but the concert certainly made for a memorable visual.
