The Real Housewives Are Very into Sky-High Ankle-Strap Platform Pumps Right Now

Platform pumps are having a moment, and nowhere is this more true than in the Bravoverse. On the July 6 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Rinna arrived at Sutton Stracke's housewarming luncheon wearing a pair of sky-high satin platform block heel pumps in an unmissable shade of red. 

"Look at these!" Sutton gasped upon noticing Lisa's fancy footwear, to which Rinna replied, "Aren't they fabulous?" (So fabulous, in fact, that when it came time to head to the backyard to dine, Lisa opted to change into a borrowed pair of Sutton's flip flops rather than risk soiling her pumps on the "mucky" grass. "You can't f--k with these shoes," she reasoned.)

The shoes in question were Versace's Medusa Aevitas platform pumps in red ($1,575). The satin pumps, which have a six-inch block heel and a double platform, also feature an ankle strap adorned with rhinestones and a gold Medusa charm.

More recently, the fuchsia version of the same Versace heels were spotted on another Real Housewife: Lesa Milan. The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member incorporated the shoes into her monochromatic magenta interview look, which appeared in the July 27 episode. 

Still, there's another pair of designer platform pumps making its rounds on the feet of Bravo stars. Valentino Garavani's patent leather version of a platform pump ($1,150) was recently spotted on both Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and The Real Housewives of Dubai. 

First, on the July 19 episode of WWHL, guest Vicki Gunvalson wore the tan version of the six-inch block heel, which features an ankle strap with a gold V logo buckle. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club cast member showed them off while posing for a photo backstage at the show.

Then, the same shoes — this time in orange — appeared in Dubai. Caroline Stanbury let the statement shoes take center stage, pairing them with a muted white dress for an interview look in the July 27 episode.
