Dorit Kemsley Demonstrates the Delicate Art of Dining Out With a Toddler in Beverly Hills
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mother managed a perfectly civilized lunch date with her three-year old.
On the heels of a sweet cookie snack with her son Jagger, Dorit Kemsley took her three-year-old daughter Phoenix out for a mommy-and-me lunch date. The two grabbed a table at Caffe Roma Beverly Hills. And though it's not always easy to have a civilized meal with a toddler, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mama managed to do just that. Let's all take notes, shall we?
First, Dorit and her wee one brought plenty of toys. At her place setting, Phoenix had not only silverware, but little plastic friends to keep her company — including her special doll. In fact, in one particularly cute moment, the little one "fed" her doll a bite of spaghetti before helping herself to a forkful. "I love that you serve your first baby, what a good mama," Dorit commented. And, Phoenix even cleaned the doll's face afterwards!
Then, there was a little table-side activity for the toddler. Filming Phoenix as she studiously took pizza-making instructions from a server before doing it herself as part of a kid-friendly interactive offering, Dorit narrated: "She said: I'm gonna learn to make pizza, mommy, and I can make it for all of us at home."
Afterwards, Dorit asked: "Did you have a good mommy-daughter day?" and the little one nodded in the affirmative. However, Phoenix did have one minor complaint earlier in the day: "This is a cool restaurant but why did they not give me my food," she hilariously asked, while waiting for her meal. Of course, the pizza and pasta came shortly thereafter, and all was well.
