Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave sticks to a sensible, healthy diet that includes plenty of salads and soups. But how does the professional accountability coach feel about diet shakes and fasting? 

On November 29, Teddi answered fans' questions via Instagram Stories' "Ask Me Anything" sticker. One follower typed up the question: "Do you believe in all these shakes that suppress your appetite and [fasting]?" The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal offered a measured response. 

First of all, she explained, "I believe in eating clean." That said, she added, "I also believe in certain cleanses (where you eat clean foods)."

 

As for fasting and shakes, though — those are a big no, according to Teddi.

"I do not fast or drink any protein shakes," Teddi wrote.

So, to sum it all up, Teddi's philosophy seems to be: Stick to clean foods, and you won't need to cleanse. That sounds deliciously sane to us!
