Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is a wellspring of diet tips and healthy lifestyle inspo — and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach regularly shares her strategies with her followers on Instagram.
Her recent tips on the social media platform have included her hack for avoiding temptation, what she eats for dinner "9 times out of 10" to stay healthy, and the first thing she suggests consuming every day for wellness.
And now, Teddi is sharing a new insight into how she maintains a healthy diet — and it has to do with not just what she eats, but when.
Teddi invited questions from fans on Instagram Stories, and one asked, "What is your go-to meal that replaces/satisfies unhealthy cravings?"
Teddi responded with a multi-pronged answer. First, she said, "I try to eat snacks/meals before I start feeling hungry. That way I don't make any last-minute bad decisions."
And that's why timing is everything. Teddi explained that she keeps things regimented and avoids hunger cravings by eating, "breakfast by 8. Lunch at noon. Dinner at 6."
Even for Teddi, nighttime cravings do strike. But she explained how she manages it. "I crave sweets before bed," she wrote on Instagram. "I normally have a sleepy time tea and it helps curb that."
