Here’s Why Chanel Ayan Called Out Phaedra Parks at BravoCon 2022

Things got a little shady between The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member and The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum.

As you might imagine, when Bravolebs from all corners of the country — and the world! — gathered in New York City for BravoCon 2022, shade was thrown and tea was spilled. In fact, for a special Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen taping straight from BravoCon, the titular host gathered some of the most iconic “shade assassins” (and we mean that lovingly, of course!) from various Bravo shows, and the meetup was aptly titled the Reading Room

Naturally, the questions were extra shady. For example, Andy Cohen asked Margaret Josephs what she really thought of Teresa Giudice’s wedding hair (she called it “very large”). Tamra Judge was urged to name the most boring show on Bravo (we say there isn’t one, but Tamra chose The Real Housewives of Dubai.) And Marysol Patton was told to call out the person she had the least fun with on Season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip (the title went to Leah McSweeney).

But one of the biggest highlights came when Andy posed to Chanel Ayan, “Who do you think has the worst fashion sense on this stage?” After surveying the room, the supermodel set her sights on Phaedra Parks, who was clad in a black high-neck mesh ensemble with large, sparkling cross earrings. From there, a bit of playful chaos ensued. Press play on the video above to see exactly what went down when Ayan called out Phaedra for her fashion — and see how The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum responded to the diss.
