Ever since Danielle Staub took the leap and chopped 12 inches off her hair into a Kim Kardashian-inspired cut last fall, the The Real Housewives of New Jersey beauty has been fearless when it comes to changing up the length and color of her gorgeous lob. But her model daughter Christine Staub is on team mermaid hair: She's had long, straight locks for as long as we can remember. (Except for that time she rocked crimped hair, of course.)
But mom Danielle convinced her daughter to add some short, choppy layers to her long mane during a mother-daughter hair cut session at NYC's Arsen Gurgov Salon.
"Great #hairday ......thanks for trusting mommy," Danielle wrote on Instagram, tagging Christine.
Danielle got a fresh cut and color to keep her lob looking sharp too. See her look below, and scroll through to see a video of Christine getting those layers styled into bombshell waves.
Danielle summed up her salon day mantra on Instagram, writing: "Change is good ...who agrees?"
