Dolores Catania Is "Gonna Miss" Her Studio Apartment as She Prepares to Leave NYC
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has said "bye for now" to New York City.
After enjoying several months in her New York City "bachelorette pad," Dolores Catania is temporarily saying goodbye to the Big Apple.
"Bye for now NYC see ya soon," The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member captioned an Instagram Story video showing the South Street Seaport in Manhattan. "Gonna miss my little water street studio."
In July, Dolores opened up about the apartment on an episode of the Kickin’ Back with Kelly podcast. “I’ve never had my own thing. I’ve never had my own room in my life. My kids slept with me always," she said. "And now I have the dogs that sleep with me. On occasion, Frankie will come in the middle of the night and sit and will talk to me, but I’ve never had the privacy of my own place, ever. At 49, I have my own little place, and it’s really cute.”
After revealing on the episode that she "decorated it so adorable," Dolores gave her Instagram followers a peek inside the apartment weeks later. As seen in the photos of her living and sleeping areas, the cozy home's decor features black, white, and gray accents with several pops of pink.
Dolores first revealed in February that she was moving into the new home, telling Page Six: "I always dreamed about living in the city."
At the time, she had planned to share the apartment with her son, Frankie, as he completed an internship. However, as she explained on the Kickin’ Back with Kelly podcast episode, when Frankie’s internship was canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, he did not move into the studio. With the apartment all to herself, Dolores excitedly declared on the episode, “It’s my bachelorette pad!
