In a December 13 Instagram post, Dolores Catania’s boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, revealed that he just underwent surgery: a blepharoplasty.

The procedure — an eyelid lift that removes excess skin — is “a powerful yet subtle way of re-framing the eyes,” states the website for Dr. Mark Karolak, the facial plastic surgeon who worked on Paul’s eyes. “Snap snip tuck….. bop bop bop,” the beau of The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member captioned a quick video cut of the transformation, from pre-surgery through healing to the final results. Per Dr. Karolak’s website, the surgery works “to transform droopy eyelids into an overall well-rested appearance” and “takes less than an hour to perform.”

“[Dr. Karolak] is sooo amazing,” Dolores commented on the post, which detailed the upper and lower lid lifts the Ireland native received.

Paul has a solid partner in Dolores, as the New Jerseyan has undergone several cosmetic procedures in the past and has been open about her journey along the way.

In October, Dolores shared during an exclusive interview at BravoCon that after having numerous plastic surgeries, she doesn’t “regret a thing.”

“I just feel if you look in the mirror and you want to change something and you can, do it,” she shared at the time. “And you should look in the mirror and love every part of you, by the way.”
