The Wakiles Are Moving Out of Their Franklin Lakes Home: “Ready for the Next Chapter”
The RHONJ family members penned emotional goodbyes to their beloved house after it recently sold.
The Wakile family has sold their beloved home. As they spent their last moments at the Franklin Lakes property, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Kathy Wakile and her kids, Victoria Wakile and Joseph Wakile, penned touching goodbyes to the abode.
“This time [seven] years ago, we were moving into a home my parents built with every inch of their heart,” Victoria wrote in a November 30 Instagram post. “Ready for the next chapter, we filled this home with so many truly special memories and even a few terribly hard ones.”
She continued: “I met my husband living here and I walked down the stairs my parents envisioned me walking down on my wedding day. We weren’t raised in this home, but we definitely grew up here. I am so incredibly proud of my parents and our family. The truth is, my home is wherever they are but so much love lived here and love will always live here. May God continue to bless, protect and watch over this home and the new family that follows! Here’s to our next chapter, together.”
In an Instagram Story, Joseph shared a photo of the empty home and wrote, “Buona Notte, 755.”
In a separate Story, Kathy wrote, “We are so happy that our family home is going to a beautiful family and we are comforted to know that love will continue to live there.” She added, “[Rich] [and] I are super excited for our next project.”
After 20 years of living in Wayne, New Jersey, the family moved into the Franklin Lakes house they built from the ground up in 2015. In the years since, they have created special memories cooking together, celebrating milestone moments, and taking in the gorgeous sunset from the backyard.
