Kathy Wakile Shows Off a New Angled Bob Haircut and Highlights
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum is walking into 2023 with a fresh new short hairstyle.
In 2021, Kathy Wakile decided to “change it up” and go with an ’80s-inspired ’do, taking on a voluminous hairstyle with lots of crimps. More recently, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum is once again switching things up by going lighter and shorter for the new year.
On January 18, celebrity hairstylist Julius Michael took to Instagram to reveal Kathy’s new and refined look. “She walked into 2023 inches lighter with her new hair,” Julius captioned the post. Kathy’s brunette hair was styled in a chunky bob with light brown highlights.
“[Arturo] took over 8 inches off to give Kathy a sleek severe angle,” Julius continued. “I gave [her] a fresh new [hair color] with a darker cut inch chocolate brown base with a face frame highlight for some pop.”
Kathy seemed to love her fresh shorter hairstyle as she smiled in the photo. Over the years, Kathy and Julius have created other iconic looks, including a seasonal trim and color and a switch to the blonde side.
This isn’t the only big change that Kathy has welcomed into her life in 2023. Last month, the Wakile family announced they had sold their Franklin Lakes property. Kathy shared the news on her Instagram Story by writing, “We are so happy that our family home is going to a beautiful family and we are comforted to know that love will continue to live there.” She continued, “[Rich] [and] I are super excited for our next project.”
