Margaret Josephs' "Roots Are Going Grey" in Self-Quarantine
The Real Housewives of New Jersey fashion mogul gets real about her beauty struggles in self-isolation.
Margaret Josephs is self-quarantined in New Jersey with a tight crew that includes her mother, Marge Senior, and her beloved housekeeper Marlene. (See more about Marlene in the clip above.) In a recent Instagram post, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member cuddled up to her quarantine buddies for a group photo. And though she had nothing but love for her besties, she bemoaned a slight beauty flaw she perceived in the unfiltered pic.
Describing the photo, Margaret wrote: "My Quarantine crew! We decided to social distance together from the beginning because we are family through and through and are [co-dependent.]" She added: "Side note this is filtered my roots are going grey!"
Regular root touchups aren't the only appointments that Margaret seems to miss. When a snarky commenter wrote: "If Botox will keep the COVID at bay, you guys are way safe," the New Jersey 'Wife retorted: "Lol we wish ours is fading fast."
But in reality, we've seen how fab "the Marge" looks these days. For her recent birthday, the MacBeth Collection founder had a style moment with a message, posing in a black-and-white top that said Grateful on the back. And on Easter, she and Marge Senior looked beyond gorgeous in printed dresses and soft, springy glam. Roots or no roots, the Marge is keeping it together.
Meanwhile, Margaret isn't the only New Jersey Housewife getting cozy with her natural hair color. Jackie Goldenschneider recently wrote on Instagram: "Embracing my roots! Good news is I’m not so gray, bad news is I’m not so blonde!"
