Margaret Josephs' Perfect Met Gala Look Includes a Bedazzled Mask & Rubber Gloves
The Real Housewives of New Jersey blonde rocked luxe pajamas and a glittering jeweled face mask for what would've been fashion's biggest night.
Margaret Josephs never met a party theme that she couldn't make her own. The Real Housewives of New Jersey fashion pro loves throwing lavish events with caviar tastes on a tuna fish budget, so it should come as no surprise that she would have her own unique take on self-quarantined style for what would have been fashion's biggest night. Like Marlo Hampton's regal purple gown and Sutton Stracke's slew of glittering dresses, Margaret had a show-stopping ensemble in mind for the Met Gala — and it is not at all what we expected.
The star-studded, art and fashion-filled ball to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute was canceled this year due to COVID-19, but that hasn't kept many celebs from posting glamorous interpretations of the "About Time" theme. Margaret, naturally, found the perfect outfit for her at-home celebration. "In honor of the Met Gala being postponed and its theme 'About Time' in fashion, I took it a bit literally," she wrote in her post on Mary 4.
"PJ’s and glamour jewel masks! Who am I wearing you ask? Old Victoria Secret pajamas, Zara bejeweled headband, my own rubber gloves and rings, and a Vintage necklace as a mask," she hilariously added. In the shot, Margaret was lounging in a black and white printed silk pajama set with her steely blonde hair styled in a fancy updo.
Her hair was adorned with a glittering headband that just so happens to coordinate perfectly with her "face mask" made from a vintage necklace. Oh, and did we mention the black latex gloves worn with rings?!
