Melissa Gorga Shows Off Her New Eyebrows: “Powder Brow Day”

Back in 2019, Melissa Gorga brought her husband, Joe Gorga, along with her to an eyebrow waxing appointment. “We’re man-browing Joe today,” The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member announced in her Instagram Stories at the time, showing how she and her hubby kept themselves well groomed. “You need this done,” Melissa quipped. “Your eyebrows gotta match your wife’s, you know what I mean? Your wife’s got some tight brows — you gotta match her!”

Indeed, Melissa has some pretty “tight brows,” maintaining a stellar shape over the years. In addition to her waxing sessions with Joe, the Envy boutique owner recently shared another procedure she’s taken on to achieve the ultimate perfect look: powder brows. 

In a slew of Instagram Stories shared on November 8, Melissa documented her appointment with Camila Mello, aka the “[queen] of brows]” — whom the mom of three has previously visited for waxing.

You may have heard of waxing, microblading, and tattooing, but what are powder brows? Following Melissa’s appointment, Mello took to the Beauty Bar Instagram Stories to explain what goes into the “non-invasive treatment.” 

“It is not a tattoo, it is micropigmentation,” the brow specialist said of the technique. “[Melissa] typically comes twice a year for her regular touch-ups to her powder brow.” Mello went on to explain that powder brows start with two appointments: the initial treatment and a touch-up appointment six weeks later. “Everybody [typically comes] anywhere between once or twice a year.”

As seen in the above photos, the procedure helped the New Jersey native get a sleek and specific look with a well-defined arch that has an almost makeup-like appearance. 

The only question we have now is will Joe be open to trying out some powder brows?
