Melissa & Joe Gorga are Selling Their Stunning Jersey Shore House: Find Out Why
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple's vacation home is on the market for $2.45M, and they already know where they want to buy next.
Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga are saying goodbye to their amazing vacation home.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple recently put their Toms River, New Jersey house on the market. According to the property records, the home was originally listed for $2.9 million, but dropped to $2.45 million shortly after. Although Melissa explained in the video above that the home is "such an amazing place," she and Joe are now looking for a change of scenery.
"They are looking to buy in the Hamptons," a rep for Melissa told BravoTV.com. "They have spent summers down the shore since they were married and are looking to change it up."
According to the listing, the house has 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and Barnegat Bay views. The "absolute best part of this house," Melissa explained in the video above, is the outdoor space featuring multiple seating areas, a stunning pool, a "bar/pool house," and a fire pit that adds a "Greece vibe" to the home. "This truly is my happy place, my own little beach club," she said. "This is the reason we brought the property. I can't explain the feeling you get when you walk out here in the morning."
"Growing up here at the Jersey Shore and being able to now level up and have a house like this, I'm so blessed," she continued. "And I'm so grateful."
Last year, Melissa, Joe, and their kids moved out of their longtime house in Montville, NJ. "Our family home for the last 12 years is Officially Sold," she shared at the time. "We’ve made so many memories in this home." In July, she shared a peek at the family's new digs. "This will [soon] be our new house!" she captioned an Instagram video. "This is day one of construction!"
