Earlier this year, Carole Radziwill declared that she was entering 2022 with the intention to focus on her health. “It’s the time of year when people reassess,” she captioned a January 7 Instagram post. “I don’t make new years resolutions but I like hitting goals, short (sleep [seven] hours) and long. Health is a long one.”

Recently, The Real Housewives of New York City alum has been sharing more of her health journey, giving some behind-the-scenes details of her workout routine.

In her recent Instagram Stories, Carole documented what went into her “booty day” workout with trainer Victor Del Valle: hip thrusts, dead lifts, and a little motivation from her “training partner,” Baby. An additional Story showed the New York native doing her lateral pulldown exercises, and she wrote she was “shredding for the winter.”

It looks like the What Remains author is truly staying focused on hitting those goals she set for herself at the beginning of the year. Carole shared more about her fitness goals in the aforementioned January Instagram post, explaining that after spending her “entire adult life eating junky [and] avoiding the gym,” she “decided to make health a priority.”

“Yes I was born with a strong metabolism and sporty genes,” she wrote. “That helps but it doesn’t guarantee health.” With that in mind, the journalist made some major changes to her daily routine, including “eating clean (no dieting or calorie counting) and working out.”

For Carole, that meant taking some time to determine the best fitness routine for her. “You have to find the exercise that works for you,” she shared, noting she was “bored” by yoga and “knew running was stressful on joints long term.” Eventually, she started weight training. “I loved it,” she declared. “Females don’t necessarily associate lifting as exercise for women but it’s the best kind as you get older.”
