Dorinda Medley, aka the queen of Blue Stone Manor, is known for her effortless ability to "make it nice" when it comes to entertaining. From her elegant home decor to her elaborate dinner parties, it's no wonder that Rihanna wants to pay The Real Housewives of New York City cast member a visit.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

But while we love our decor diva, we're also low-key obsessed with Dorinda's eccentric, high-fashion-filled closet (watch the video above for more on that). Like Dorinda herself, her wardrobe has a way of stirring up controversy and her recent pair of crochet pants from the group's Mexican vacation is a prime example.

As the gang headed out for another night of drama and margaritas, most of our attention was focused on Dorinda's colorful, hand-crafted, crochet pants that even featured a little touch of razzle dazzle. The patchwork pants by British fashion label Ashish retailed for $1,844 and are a must-have if you want to jump on the crochet fashion trend that's been taking over the runways in 2020. But for some, the handiwork pants were a shocking fashion miss.

On August 22, Dorinda took to Instagram to address the couture controversy by sharing a meme that compared her pants to the dumpster fire that is the year 2020. Naturally, Dorinda responded with her trademark irreverent sense of humor.

"Here’s the kicker, @hannahdangerlynch will be wearing the matching coat in a few week! Sold Out! #iloveit #stillsequinseason," she wrote. You tell them, D!
