After spending the bulk of 2023 in the Berkshires, The Real Housewives of New York City alum announced she was back in her new NYC apartment. Dorinda confirmed the news in a July 21 Instagram post that showed her smiling ear to ear while posing in the Manhattan home. The mother of one rocked a colorful, multi-patterned dress by La DoubleJ, which looked especially bold against a plain white wall.

“Adding some color to my new apartment,” Dorinda captioned the photo. “FINALLY MOVED BACK IN!!!!”

The original post "disappeared" hours after it was published, but Dorinda was quick to put it back up with a new and lighthearted caption.

"WAIT WHAT?? It disappeared!!! Maybe too many patterns???" she wrote. "Well here it is again Happy Friday!!"

Dorinda's NYC Living History

When she joined the RHONY cast in Season 7, the former Housewife was living in a gorgeous two-bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side. She renovated the space five seasons later, after she experienced a breakup and other major life changes.

“This little renovation in my old apartment that turned into this huge renovation, it’s sort of like representative of my life,” she said in a September 2020 episode. “I sort of washed away all of what’s been bothering me.”

In 2022, Dorinda chose to list the NYC pad for $2.5 million with the intention of downsizing and splitting her time between Manhattan and Bluestone Manor — her amazing Berkshires estate that’s been featured on RHONY and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

“After 21 years in my beautiful two-bedroom apartment, I am officially an empty nester and I’ve decided to put it on the market,” she told the Daily Mail. “Having spent the pandemic renovating it, it is now ready for a new family to enjoy.”

Dorinda thankfully didn’t have to look too long — or too far — for her next home, as she ultimately purchased a $1.25 million condo in the same building as her former apartment. According to the Daily Mail, the 760-square-foot unit featured one bedroom, one bathroom, a loft area, and stunning views of the posh neighborhood.

“The funny thing is my realtor Laurie Cooper who sold me my original apartment in this very same building 21 years ago, found this beautiful jewel box apartment in the same building,” she told the outlet. “ I love Laurie Cooper and I’ll be forever grateful, she’s the best,’ Dorinda explained. ‘It’s a beautiful one bedroom with a loft. Just what I was looking for.”

Dorinda provided a glimpse at the new space in August 2022, saying it needed a “total redo.”

“I am in my new apartment on a blow-up mattress because my bed didn’t arrive yet from Restoration Hardware,” she said in an Instagram post. “I’m not staying in a hotel. I’m staying here. Look at how cute it is. It’s sunny, it’s super clean, I got my clothes, I got my products.”

She then shared a quick look at the kitchen area, which was undergoing renovation.

“The dream team is here!” she said. “Not wasting any time here.”
