Dorinda Medley Is "So Excited" About Her New Apartment: See Inside
The Real Housewives of New York City alum documented the "first night in [her] apartment."
In February, Dorinda Medley announced she was selling her longtime Manhattan home, which she had recently renovated. "After 21 years in my beautiful two-bedroom apartment, I am officially an empty nester and I've decided to put it on the market," The Real Housewives of New York City alum told the Daily Mail at the time. "Having spent the pandemic renovating it, it is now ready for a new family to enjoy."
Six months later, Dorinda has officially said goodbye to the apartment and is now settling into her new NYC digs. On August 2, she documented the "first night in [her] apartment" in an Instagram Story video that showed her bedroom, closet, and kitchen.
"I am in my new apartment on a blow-up mattress because my bed didn't arrive yet from Restoration Hardware," she said in the clip. "I'm not staying in a hotel. I'm staying here. Look at how cute it is. It's sunny, it's super clean, I got my clothes, I got my products." Later, as work was already being done in her kitchen, she exclaimed, "The dream team is here!" and declared, "Not wasting any time here."
In February, Dorinda shared in an Instagram comment that her new apartment would be "total redo." While she didn't say much about her plans for the space in her recent video, she did note that she planned to utilize the strobe lights from her former kitchen. "Are we gonna put up those flashing lights again?" she teased before quickly answering, "Yes."
