Dorinda Medley Explains Why She Has Strobe Lights in Her Kitchen

Dorinda Medley doesn't shy away from a good dance party — even if she has to host one in her own kitchen. In a recent Instagram share, The Real Housewives of New York City alum posted a look at the party-ready lighting that she has at home, and explained why she's ready to channel a club atmosphere anytime she cooks.

The March 5 post featured the New York mom in her Manhattan kitchen, sipping from a mug amid some festive lights. As clubby music played, Dorinda first played coy. But later, she returned to show off her moves as pulsing lights changed colors around her.

"Me promising [my daughter] Hannah I won’t dance when the music comes on in a store!" she wrote in her caption. In the comments, Hannah confirmed: "this is true." 

When a follower asked Dorinda to spill some more tea on the lights, she explained: "I put them up in my kitchen for it we ever have a fun night again!"
