After renovating her Berkshires vacation home following a flood, Dorinda Medley tackled another massive project: redoing every inch of her former Upper East Side apartment.

On The Real Housewives of New York City's September 3 Season 12 finale, Dorinda discussed the apartment renovation with her stylist, Luke, and her contractor, Nik. "We started off, I was like, 'Nik, I just want a little bit of a facelift," she recalled. "I came in one day, I'm like, 'Rip it out!'"

"This little renovation in my old apartment that turned into this huge renovation, it's sort of like representative of my life," Dorinda explained in an interview during the episode. "I sort of washed away all of what's been bothering me. Now I can just start the new year off just unburdened. Now I can really start thinking about what are good things for the future for me?"

The goal for the home, which you can see before and during construction in the photos below, was "a classic, clean, efficient New York apartment," Dorinda explained at the time. 

While she worked on the project, Dorinda was living at her new Sutton Place apartment, which she has decorated with her personal style. “I love the pink, now that Hannah doesn’t live with me and I don’t have husbands living with me, and it’s just little ol’ me, I’m going pink,” Dorinda told BravoTV.com of her décor while showing us around her new digs. “I love the pink couches, I mean, these things are amazing!” 

Recently, Dorinda has been spending plenty of time at her newly-renovated Blue Stone Manor, which now boasts a luxe pool area, chic new carpeting, and updated bedrooms including a new-and-improved fish room. "The house feels like a totally different energy," Dorinda said of the home, which suffered $1M in damage from the flood, during the show's July 9 episode. "It feels more alive and more awake than it's ever felt."
