Sonja Morgan is getting real about her weight-loss journey. On Part 3 of The Real Housewives of New York City's reunion, Sonja reflected on a moment earlier in the season when Ramona Singer suggested she should lose weight. The comment, Sonja explained, caused her to begin "eating more."

After Sonja shared with host Andy Cohen that she then "went from 147 to 152" pounds, Ramona noted that Sonja has since "lost 27 pounds." However, Sonja explained that the tough conversation with Ramona wasn't what lead to her weight loss. "I had to go to the desert," she said. "And get connected with my spiritual side."

During the episode, Sonja revealed that she still hasn't met her target weight, telling Andy,  "I need another five pounds off,"  to which he replied, "I don't know about that."

In March, Sonja opened up about her experience at the We Care Spa in Desert Hot Springs, California. “I’m doing what I usually do after I wrap a big season of RHONY,” she said in the video above, which was recorded at the time for Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I am detoxing.”

“No sugar, no white food, no gluten,” she explained of her diet restrictions. “Actually I’m only juicing right now. I’m doing colonics. I’m taking cinnamon, cloves, garlic: everything to kill everything and keep my immunities up. Lots of green juice."
