There's an Unexpected Hitch in Meghan King Edmonds' Massive Home Build
See why The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is in the dark!
It's been a year since Meghan King Edmonds and her husband, Jim Edmonds, broke ground on constructing their massive dream home in St. Louis that includes dream spaces for each spouse (a date night-worthy dream closet for Meghan and a bowling alley, a basketball court, and a batting cage for Jim) and their three darling children. It's just about finished and almost everything has been going smoothly and according to plan.
Almost.
"I went by the new house today and it was totally quiet... the power was knocked out," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum reported on Instagram. "A truck ran into the power line pole. Yes, we still have above-ground power lines in Missouri. They are SO. UGLY!"
When finished, it seems like the Edmonds family home is going to be a mix of approachable and fancy. Falling off track because of unexpected instances such as a blackout can be costly and inconvenient, but at least Meghan saw the immediate bright side of the power outage.
"But now that buys me a day to decide how to decorate the powder bath!" she wrote. "Silver lining, folks!"
