Meghan King Edmonds Says Her Massive New House Is "Smoke and Mirrors" Amid Husband Jim’s Cheating Scandal

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is addressing her husband's affair — and that huge house they’re building.

Until recently, Meghan King Edmonds had the picture-perfect life. Sure, it was messy with three young kids, but from an outsider’s view she had a loving family and was in the midst of building a stunning mansion in St. Louis. All of that is in jeopardy now, however, following a report that The Real Housewives of Orange County alum’s husband, Jim, cheated on her while she was pregnant with her twin boys.

In a story she wrote on her blog, Meghan shared her heartbreak and devastation over the scandal and was quick to point out that the glitz and glamour of her life means nothing if her marriage isn’t intact. “I don’t care about my stupid massive house, I don’t care about my new car, I don’t care about my diamonds,” she wrote in the post titled, “I’m Sad.” “What does any of that mean when I can’t have the most basic needs met?  It means nothing.  Smoke and mirrors.”

Since breaking ground more than a year ago, Meghan has been giving her social media fans lots of sneak peeks into the sprawling new home — it’s so big it will have an indoor basketball court, a bowling alley, and a batting cage! And don’t even get us started on the size of her closet, which is so big it’s actually where she and Jim go for date night.

Only time will tell if the Edmonds are able to move past this scandal and into their gorgeous new home, but considering that her recent Instagram post garnered nearly 9,000 loving comments (from the likes of fellow RHOC pals Tamra Judge, Gretchen Rossi, and Lizzie Rosovek), Meghan certainly has the support of many during this difficult time.
