Emily Simpson Got Her Husband Shane to Do What He Hasn't Done in 11 Years
The RHOC mom gave a look at life inside her self-quarantine with her husband and kids.
Like most Americans right now, the Simpson family is self-quarantining in their home. And also like most Americans right now, Emily Simpson is struggling with the whole thing! "Although necessary," she wrote on Instagram last month, "this self-isolation, social-distancing and spending ALL day with my kids and husband has put a damper on my spirits, and on my motivation to work out."
In the weeks following, however, The Real Housewives of Orange County mama has become a virtual workout queen and she’s been keeping her kids busy with things like a super fun quarantine scavenger hunt, not to mention sending her castmates thoughtful care packages. Now, the lawyer is focusing on another major task at hand — organizing her Orange County home!
In a hilarious post shared to her Instagram Stories, Emily wrote, “It took 11 years… but I finally got Shane to clean out his closet.” And what a clean-out it was! Shane did a major overhaul of his wardrobe, which we’re guessing was long overdue considering he hadn’t combed through his closet in 11 years. What did he ditch? From what we can tell, he’s saying goodbye to a slew of shoes, pants, shorts, and shirts.
With spring in the air, there’s truly nothing better than a good old-fashioned cleaning project: Well done, Shane. (And congrats on finally convincing him to get the job done, Emily!)
